The Lucy Lowdown.... (How Lucys Beach got its name) Well readers I have been told the story of Lucy..... (as to its truth....well I cant be sure!) Apparently she was a Local lass of somewhat questionable morals that made a play for Gentlemen that were at the beach (her street you might say), Not a shy lass she tolerated Wives and girlfriends to a point but not if they stood in the way of what she wanted!......It is not clear as to whether she was done in by a jealous lover or fell ill and died of some ailment, but it is said her ghost walks the beach searching for men to this day!........BOO!!
