The Lyric Theatre Brirdport is the place for this inspiring evening… Pauline Pearce, the so-called Hackney Heroine who received accolades and national media coverage for her stance in challenging rioters on the street during the 2011 summer looting which accompanied riots taking place all over London following the shooting of Mark Duggan by the police. She has since made a name for herself as a plain speaker about the failure of governments to challenge urban poverty will speak at a meeting at Bridports Lyric Theatre on 16th January called Is a Political Revolution on the Cards?.
