The MAN…The MOMENT…THE MEMORIES ALLEN MARION ANDERSON It is with great sadness as a family to have to announce after a along battle with the monster we all know as cancer the loss of a great man. ALLEN MARION ANDERSON our “Adopted” Father and we say Adopted because he has not a step father…a step father you have to have…an Adopted Father you CHOOSE to have…he has been a remarkable Friend…Father & Fellow Laborer in this life. He left us this morning at 11:45 AM in a very peaceful rest to be with the Lord. “Big Daddy” as he was effectually known to us was a 25 year Veteran Retired Army Sgt. also retired from two of our finest Police Organization the KY State Troopers and the Radcliffe Police Department. He was a man of deep Faith and a man full of devotion in his Faith, for his Family and his Friends! He was one of a kind man…as I would set at his table many many times and have the privilege of having very in depth conversations…I quickly learned that his knowledge that he had as a man with just a 7th Grade Education (Formerly) was nothing short of BRILLIANT! He was self taught down through the years…and he was a great teacher. He could hold his own not only with this man of higher education…he could hold his own with any Lawyer…Doctor…Politician or University Professor! He was a self taught poet and it is shown in the thousands of poems he wrote…he was a Canvas Artist and it is shown in his many paintings with his signature at the bottom. He spoke three other languages…and was a graduate of Dale Carnegie Leadership Course, along with other Law Enforcement Advance Training Leadership Programs. Allen Marion Anderson will be missed by those near and abroad but his legacy will live for ever! To our Second Dad…to our Mom the love of his life…and the woman that stood by the side of Two Veteran Men that served our country…and a true solider in her own right…we must stop…pause with a deep sigh of THANKFULNESS for their time and our time together…we in his honor and a man of great appreciation for the finer things in life such as Kentuckys Finest Bourbon… I lift my glass high and say here’s to you BIG DADDY…thank you for the memories and thank you for loving the lovely and the sometimes UNLOVELY…truly Heaven is now graced with your presence & the earth is minus one great man…with much love…CHEERS!!
