The MET office predict more thunder storms for the area this weekend. A fear of thunder & loud noises in quite common, especially in dogs. There are some things you can do to help you pet; Give your pet an area where they feel safe, they may choose this area themselves (under the bed etc). Close the curtains, keep the lights on & provide some background noise; radio, tv etc. Try not to reassure them, it only confirms to them that there is something to be scared of. Try distracting them with food or a favourite toy & give them lots of praise if they forget their fear, even for a moment. Consider using DAP/ Feliway, Zylkene or a snug garment.
