The MH307 Crisis could turn into an Asean 911 if the current position of deliberate action & the theory of sabotage or hijack is established. The crisis have exposed the major Asean countries on the concerns of regional security both in terms of civil & military.Will Asean finally break away from its regional solidarity and the perceived autonomy & formally militarise the region & the seas? Or will it force countries to come out and formalise their military love affairs with the superpowers? The plane have crossed the airspace of at least 3 countries with radar indication only found at the Thai,Vietnam & Indonesian border zones before flying on to unknown zone undetected. Its a carefully manoeuvred plot that involves both aviation skills & top military knowledge on the Asean & regional countries sensitive system.This is just the tip of the iceberg. The Asean Self Determination as an autonomous community will now face the dictation of the super powers & a possible military conflict the case is terrorism or sabotage. If its terrorism, we will have the American at the shores or if its domestic & political, we will see a Chinese invasion of the South China Sea. Politics in time of crisis is gutter. Stop the egoistic fuedal communications and the blame game & transcend above your trivial domestic politics to work as a region and share expertise in solidarity and as a community. Asean needs to work more effectively as a community in Crisis Prevention & Management especially on its own regional security & not just sending rescue & humanitarian aid.
