The MUWFC is very proud and excited to congratulate our current Strength & Conditioning Coach Luke Champion who has just secured himself a position working at the AIS in Canberra starting in January! Luke started with us in 2012 as an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach; he continued this role in 2013 before progressing to be our Strength & Conditioning Coach for the 2014 season. During his time at the MUWFC he has earned the respect of everyone at the Club through his hard work, dedication and unwavering care for players. He has received a postgraduate scholarship in biomechanics working with the swimming squad. These scholarships are highly sought after and prestigious. They are only awarded to stand out students in their respective disciplines who have real potential academically and potential to work in an elite sporting setting. Obtaining one of these scholarships shows a lot about Luke’s character, professionalism and ability. Congratulations Luke!
