The Macon County Town and Country Fair came to a close today. Even though I am totally exhausted I am always sad when its done. The closeness, support and love of the kids in this community is amazing! Thank you to everyone for your donations, time working in the food shacks, helping any and all kids, and the buyers at the livestock auction and not to forget all of the behind the scenes people. The kids had a great time and many lessons were learned, good and bad. As usually I came home with LOTS of laundry from Tysen swimming in the cattle trough, catching frogs and hanging out in whatever animal pen was close. Lauren was her usual busy self and they both make us very very proud. Camper cleaned and restocked, ready for the next fair!
