The Maids Head Christmas lights big switch on! Tonight at 6.30: maidsheadwicken/ As winter starts to creep in we have been working on the arrangements for the BIG Maids Head Christmas Lights switch on. As well as a 16′ Christmas Tree on the Village Green outside the pub we will also be lighting up around the outside of the pub and inside the pub and restaurant. The fun will start at 6.30pm with the lights switched on at 7pm by Andie Harper from the mid morning show on Radio Cambridgeshire. The Wicken Coronation Band will be playing outside and inside we have the return of Sterling who were very popular at our Beer Festival in the summer. There will be Children’s entertainment with many activities taking place and no Christmas Party would be complete without a visit from Santa and his helpers. A fun filled evening is ensured for everyone from the youngest to the oldest
