The Main Man of Walford, Mick Carter. This has only been possible because of the outstanding acting from Danny Dyer who has proved millions wrong by showing he doesnt have to walk around with a gun under his coat ready to blow somebody away. His fantastic chemistry with Sam Strike had many grown men in tears (including me). Danny has proved to everyone what an extraordinary talented range he has and now should be officially recognised and shown to the whole country by him winning many awards for his portrayal as Danny Dyer. Danny Dyer has shown and proved to everyone what a serious actor he is and not one dimensional as so many people think he is. When the casting was first announced, there were many groans, another Derek Branning etc. Many of the thugs previously portrayed on the programme were very one-dimensional. I could list many over the last couple of years but Danny Dyer broke that mould. His amazing acting with other members of his on-screen family have shown what a great bit of casting it was.
