The Malabous Ron, Shes A Doll, Tomi Records, 1968. This one is a knock-off of the Dayv Butler and the Delmars tune Shes No Baby (JCP, label printed as Shes A Baby 1966). Bassist Donnie Crisp tells me that Dave was none to happy when this record was done without his knowledge, though he does get a writing credit on the label. This group allegedly also from Fayetteville, other writing credit is M. Goggins. A-side is the 3 and a half minute Start All Over also by Goggins. Another record on TOMI is by Wrong Rain, Im So Proud with note A Talent of Music Production, so label could be an acronym. Also, the publisher on the Wrong Rain record is Clay Music, suggesting it was recorded at Arthur Smith Studios, Charlotte.
