The Manga Fair has established itself as one of the great events in Barcelona and this year sees it extending its area and opening to the public on four days from 9am. Plaça Univers will be the venue, where there will be Cosplay competitions, an Anime Song Contest, Asian-dancing displays and music performances. Stand 1 will be devoted to Japanese food, Japanese games and videogames and there will be an open events room, while Stand 2 will be featuring the exhibitors, a manga workshop, a children’s zone and exhibitions as well as a “Spirit of Japan” space, holding traditional Japanese cultural activities. The 20th Barcelona Manga Fair has already confirmed the attendance of several outstanding Japanese manga authors, such as Kengo Hanazawa and Takeshi Obata. ficomic/inici.cfm
