The Marching Showband Classic on May 4 was another fantastic success. A huge thanks goes out to the chair of the event, Bonnie Michel for organizing the many aspects associated with the Classic. In addition, a thank you must go to the numerous volunteers and sponsors that made the event a success. Despite the snowy weather, the participating bands had a good start to the show season. The 20th annual Marching Showband Classic is scheduled for May 3, 2015. Upcoming Events The Red Deer Royals parade and show season is now underway. The events that the band will be at are now up on the calendar at reddeerroyals. We hope to see you there along the parade route or in the stands! Please mark you calendar for June 29 and plan to attend the Sounds of Summer - a free concert for the people of Red Deer. This year, our special guest performers will be the Marching Koala from Newcastle, NSW Australia.
