A deputy arrived on scene and apprehended the suspect while he was still inside the residence attempting to steal items from inside the residence. Cody Wes Davis age 25 of 996 Drexel Avenue was arrested and taken to The Multi County Correctional Center for a fifth degree felony charge of breaking and entering. Sheriff Tim Bailey would like to thank the individual who reported this information as it directly assisted the Sheriff’s Office in apprehending the suspect and solving this crime. Sheriff Tim Bailey would like to remind residents to report any suspicious activity such as this to law enforcement by contacting the Sheriff’s Office at 740-382-8244, The Marion City Police Department at 740-387-2525, or by calling the TIPS line at 740-375-TIPS (8477).
