The Marriage Sonnet The two become one flesh, one flesh - TopicsExpress

The Marriage Sonnet The two become one flesh, one flesh profound The two sing thrice till nature’s rest at last The two become one heart, one heart around One heart in beating replies the last aghast The marriage feasting rests until the groom Of avenues of light and festive revelry Takes up his bride and goes into the room Till doors are shut and science cannot see The marriage feast has come again and lost Has come again and never to be seen will shake the trees, the mighty oak and frost will die in spring and never to be seen Will marriage have a heart for one to hold Will Love sing songs and dances from of old!
