The Martyrs of 1964 by Eric Jackson I saw a handful of people climbing up this light pole, surrounded by police at the bottom, but climbing up the pole with this flag. Then there was the guy at the top all of a sudden realizing that he had no way to tie it down. Somebody took off his belt and then scooted up part of the way, handed it off to another guy who was about halfway up, who scooted up the rest of the way and handed it to the guy on top, who used it to tie the flag to the top of the pole.
