The Mayo Clinic believes that THOUGHTS can improve our lives if they are positive thoughts. Heres some of their suggestions: _____________________ Surround yourself with positive people. Make sure those in your life are positive, supportive people you can depend on to give helpful advice and feedback. Negative people may increase your stress level and make you doubt your ability to manage stress in healthy ways. Practice positive self-talk. Start by following one simple rule: Dont say anything to 8yourself that you wouldnt say to anyone else. Be gentle and encouraging with yourself. If a negative thought enters your mind, evaluate it rationally and respond with affirmations of what is good about you. _____________________________________ Dr. Masaru Emoto, who just passed away last Friday, spent the last 20 years of his life working to prove this fact. To do this he discovered that water itself, and water molecules, are very responsive to the human thoughts. Although Dr. Emoto was never fully supported by any school of science he did cause everyone he came in contact with to begin to think more deeply about the importance of thoughts themselves. Today our world needs desperately to come back to the fact that our thoughts create ease or hardship, beauty or ugliness, healing or pain...and even war or peace.
