The Mayor of Houston is demanding to see sermons from Christian pastors before their service. This is a direct violation of Separation of Church and State. Government has NO PLACE in churches or synagogues. My sweet grandma was a preacher. She didnt write out extensive notes. She preached from the pulpit, directed by the Holy Spirit. Her only notes were scripture references that she would use. She preached the Word of God plainly. Simply. Truthfully. If she were alive today, she would be appalled at how wimpy our churches have become. If you are a pastor - remember how you teach your congregation is how you yourself will be judged. Only harsher. James 3:1 Let not many of you become teachers, my brethren, knowing that as such we shall incur a stricter judgment.
