The Med. Oh man, THE MED. How could I possibly get through any - TopicsExpress

The Med. Oh man, THE MED. How could I possibly get through any walk down memory lane without acknowledgement of the first restaurant to become permanently infused with my soul? I can still hear the bar printer on a busy night, still smell Shamane Simons fresh-baked pastries and still see the look on everyones faces during a cock-punch Saturday morning post-Friday-night-debauchery. Some of us actually showed up on time, like Frank, all dressed and pressed. #BadAsHell. And some of us had to call in late for stinging eye pain, never to be lived down by Gregg Leverentz (its good!!). Thanks to Jennifer Judd OSheridan, who got me hired in the first place and showed me that white chics CAN rap. Thanks to Beth who taught me everything I know about exceptional customer service, and who also showed me how to be an exceptional human being. Thanks to Greg Topel (aka Muffin) who good-heartedly laughed every time Lambi and I petted his hairy arms, and for being the reason why we named it cock-punch Saturdays in the first place. You taught me how to integrate service with style and I will forever be in your debt. Thank you to Anthony G Hessel who is the biggest, baddest and most passionate chef I have every worked with. I miss your hugs! Thanks to all my bartenders in crime... Alexi, Stephanie, Carlos, Kelly, Brian, Spicer and GMan... and thank you also for helping me to turn off of frozen stoli O/ Jager FOR LIFE. Thank you to Jennifer Lamberson, who was my roommate, personal side show and best friend... and thank you for not leaving the bar at last call unless we broke into Annies show tunes and a tap dance. You are the one that made the memories all worthwhile. Thank you to Holly for always picking up the mic when it was most inappropriate, and for the patience of Rob Kakura (Brodi Bro) and the Romanos, because they loved you too much to stop you. Thank you to Brian Patrick Lewis, Nick Roberts and Kevin Oconnor for being the older, creepy guys who hit on every chic... the best part was that you guys may have been getting older, but the Med chics stay the saaaaame age:). Thank you to Patrick for making like 10 Med tours so that we all realized how good it was to be home. Thank you to all my ROCKIN Friday night girls: Melissa, Cindy, Erin, Chelsea, Angela, Chana KP, Heather Carey, Sarah and Celeste who helped to make serious memories after a Friday day shift. Thank you to Sathya who only hired YOUNG, HOT BUSSERS:). Thank you to Kevyn Zeller for surviving the Dark House mosh pit with me, even when I was de-skirted in the middle of the floor. Thank you to Jason and Kelly who fell in love while working there and threw one hell of a wedding celebration to get us all back together again. Thanks to Garrett Gesten for being the HOTTEST HOSTESS EVER and for having the most amazing family in the world. Thanks to Brad Cobb and Andrew Crawford for giving us a place to order shots of water for the dumb chics who sat in the 90s and refused to tip. Thanks, also, for dealing with my drunken stupidity, claiming that no, your shots were not tequila (you f^@$), but fruit juice instead. Thanks to all the people that worked like crazy demons, drank like Greek gods and banned together to get through another shift at the sweatshop. I LOVE YOU GUYS. Thanks for being my village for so many years. #YogaForAll #22DaysLeft https://kickstarter/projects/315940703/ohanayogacom-filming-more-yoga-at-bishops-castle-c
