The Message of Christmas: Written By Brandon Lee Marshall 12-11-00 The Message of Christmas begins long ago..... It begins on a crystal clear night where all the stars shone bright, One more brightly than all the rest! Elswhere a Husband and his expecting wife, Mary and Joseph were journeying to find a place to lay there heads. Mary in her womb carried the Son of God. The one who was to come into this world to save us all, to bring light and salvation. On this Holy Night numberless concourses of Angels procliamed his humble birth through song. As he was born and brought into the arms of his Mother and Father who were anxiously awaiting his arrival, for they knew what lay before him. On this solemn and silent night the King of Kings was born. As they watched him throughout his mortal life, teaching in the Temple, Performing many miracles out of the love in his heart for all people. They watched in Awe and Gratitude, Glad to have been chosen as his parents. They watched in sadness as later in his life he was ridiculed and beaten for proclaiming his Royal birth and Heritage as the Son of God. As he was brought through the streets of Galilee, being hissed and spat upon, while carrying the beam on his shoulders that was soon to be part in his death, Im sure our Father in Heaven looked in agony trying to bear seeing his Son go through all that he was to bear. The spikes being driven into his hands and wrist. Then being raised on the cross for all to see, Our Father knew there was no other way. As Jesus hung on the cross Darkeness covered the Earth, He gave up the Spirit and went to his Father. Morning came at the Sepulchure and Mary Magdalene arrived to find the Tomb empty.... It was then she heard a voice from behind her say MARY She turned herself and said.... Rabboni or Master. This the Resurrection is the culminating message our Savior wants us to remember, That he is there for us and will guide us as the Star of Bethlehem led the Wisemen and Shepherds to the Manger where the King of Kings and Son of God lay. He is there for us. He has not left us.
