The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said “There are two - TopicsExpress

The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said “There are two types of people who will enter the Hell-fire, whom I have not (as yet) seen: People having whips similar to ox-tails with which they will beat people, and (secondly) women who will be dressed yet appear to be naked. They will seduce men and be inclined towards them. Their heads will be like the swaying humps of bacterial camels. They will neither enter paradise, nor smell its fragrance, even though its fragrance can be smelt from such and such distance.” [Muslim] When people see this hadith, they always notice the camel hump bit. They put all their emphasize on the hump. But the real sin is "BEING DRESSED YET APPEAR TO BE NAKED". This is also one of the minor signs of Qiyammah that is present in this age. For example, what is the most common piece of clothing in this age? LEGGINGS. They are skin tight and see-through. there are many other examples but this is the one that stands out. Anyway why is being dressed yet naked such a big sin that the person wont even smell the fragrance of Jannah? It is not because the clothes cause harm to the woman directly, but because it is seduction on such a large scale. Every look a woman gets while being semi-naked, it will count as bad deed, and if a guy looks after the first look, that will also count as a bad deed. so if a hundred people look at a semi-naked woman in a day, then she will have gained a hundred bad deeds and made a hundred people commit sin. which is much much worse. She will share the sin with everyone who looked because of her. Thats why the punishment is so harsh. As for the people with ox tails beating people: Al-Nawawi said: With regard to those who would have whips, they are those who work for the police. [Sharh al-Nawawi ‘ala Saheeh Muslim, 17/191.] Al-Sakhaawi said: They are now the helpers of the oppressors, and usually it refers to the worst group around the ruler. It may also apply to unjust rulers. [Al-Ishaa’ah li Ashraat il-Saa’ah, p. 119.] How true is that, the police in some countries in this age are probably the most oppressive in this age. They commit oppression like mindless animals. How many times have we heard cops beating up or shooting civilians with minimum provocation. And the armies are much worse, they think they have a free-pass to rape and kill everything on sight without any sign of compassion or humanness. This is also one of the signs of Qiyammah. May Allah save us all from these times of great fitnah. May Allah grant us fear that all of the minor signs of Qiyammah have come to pass. and May Allah makes us firm in our emaan and give us strength to overcome our desires and weaknesses.
