The Metro Philadelphia contacted me about our right to bear arms - TopicsExpress

The Metro Philadelphia contacted me about our right to bear arms rally and protest against Tom Wolfs inauguration. My interview will be published this Tuesday. Id also like to thank Dan Gray for his help in this effort. We are concerned because Governor-Elect Tom Wolf stated that he would sign legislation to enact universal background checks, and as history has proved, background checks are the first step towards gun confiscation. He also said that he wants to grant municipalities the ability to enact gun control ordinances, which would clearly violate the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, which specifically says The right of the citizens to bear arms in defense of themselves and the State shall not be questioned (Article 1, Section 21). Wolf also wants to ban sales of semi-automatic rifles, which have been in widespread legal ownership and use in Pennsylvania for many years. Tom Wolf has the clear intent of violating both the US and Pennsylvania Constitutions, and he will be an Oath Breaker from the moment he is sworn in. We are also concerned because we see law enforcement agencies all across the country becoming more militarized under the control of politicians like Wolf, yet he wants to take away our most basic universal right to protect ourselves, our families, and our property. Leaving law-abiding citizens helplessly caught between thugs and the State is not a position our Founding Fathers intended. Some people say that since there is a majority of Republicans in the Pennsylvania General Assembly, anti gun legislation would never make it to Wolfs desk. But looking at governments track record, we are not reassured. There are some Republicans who resist reality and assist Statism in calling for gun-control. A prime example is State Representative Warren Kampf, who openly advocates for intrusive, useless and unconstitutional background checks. We also worry that Wolf would emulate his hero, President Obama, who campaigned for him, and unilaterally make regulation or fail to enforce law, in order to further his radical agenda. Almost all State employees who work in Harrisburg have been given a free day off with pay on Inauguration day, costing taxpayers millions. We know how much Wolf is concerned about traffic and parking congestion in Harrisburg during his coronation, and are hoping to see large amounts of empty seats at the ceremony. We will be there to remind him that his election was not so much a win for what he believes, but repudiation of Governor Corbett, who, in large part, failed to keep his pledges to the Conservative Pennsylvania electorate. We expect a large amount of Pennsylvanian Patriots from around the Commonwealth to attend our right to bear arms rally. The whole point of this rally is to put Tom Wolf and his Statists clique on notice. Because if any anti-gun legislation is signed in to law, we will openly and cheerfully disobey that unjust law. Our Founding Fathers disobeyed unjust laws, Rosa Parks disobeyed an unjust law, and we are prepared to do the same if that day ever comes. With Wolf in office it might just be a whole lot sooner. We have a message to Tom Wolf and those in Pennsylvania and around the country who would have citizens unarmed and defenseless. Molon Labe. Come and take them! If you can. In Liberty, Steve Piotrowski
