The Metro reports that Swansea, who lodged a £10.2 million bid for the Vitesse Arnhem man, face competition from West Ham, who have put the same value offer on the table. If Bony was to arrive at West Ham, a partnership between him and Andy Carroll up front would threaten even the strongest of defences in the Premier League. This physical partnership would be worth upwards of £25 million but could propel West Ham up the Premier League table. Bony is certainly not shy in front of goals as he scored an impressive 31 goals in the Dutch top flight last season. He is know one of Europe’s most sought after strikers. Swansea will be worried as the man who has also been linked with Newcastle and Chelsea may not move to South Wales. This wasn’t the case last week, however, when Bony’s agent, Francis Kacou, stated that a five year deal was agreed between the two parties. This seems to be not be true and West Ham could be now in pole position to land the striker if the player chooses London over Wales.
