The Metropolitan Arts Reviews had this to say about the Salute to Vienna concert at Strathmore: The colorful bouquet of flowers in the center of the stage sets the mood for the concert with lovely colorful gowns worn by the women and the other costumes including lederhosen. There was lively orchestral music, Viennese waltzing, ballet and arias in the program....The pairing of the dancers worked well and the straight lines and position of their heads while in the dance holds was perfect. The execution of movement with beautiful colorful costumes was very lovely. The last dance that was performed in ballroom was a waltz where the male wore lederhosen and the woman wore a cute little short skirt. The dancing was very entertaining.
