The Mindset Shift and The Big C. I am not sure where to begin. Over the last week or so, I have been asked to share my story. And, though, I am an excellent story teller; I was not sure where to start. I mean, do I start at childhood or at the beginning of my entrepreneurship. So, hereÆs what I came up withà. I left home after High School to enter the military and had what some would say to be an interesting career to say the least. IÆm unable to go into particulars because many of the operations I was attached to have not been de-classified. While in the military I went to school and got double Bachelors in Nursing and Business. I thought that I could help others that way. I was trying to back door myself into hospital administration. When I left the military, I also left the only life I was comfortable in and doing. Civilian life was difficult to deal with as I had trust issues with people. It took me about five years to adjust, and quite honestly, I still interrogate people, but in a less off-putting way. (I hope!) I tried my hand at ranching in Nevada and was a carded electrician in California before taking a job in Alaska. I bounced around a lot in Alaska before taking a job I loved in the Arctic as an instructor. Again helping others has always been my dream. In 2009, I even fought the ôGood Fightö against one of our biggest enemies, ôthe Big ôCö. I am still fighting it, and as it was stage III, but my marrow tests continue to back clean today. So when I write my posts I am always thankful for waking up alive and full of piss and vinegar. December 26th of last year, I was laid off for breaking a fog light on a semi during an ice storm. When that happened I had a mindset shift and decided that no longer was the ômanö going to tell me what to do. Now for those of you that donÆt live in Alaska let me just say that weÆre ôoff the grid.ö Our government treats us like a third world country, and it is very expensive to live here. I know Dave Woods would tell you the same thing. I tell you this to explain a good percentage of my motivation. Alaska is also the last frontier. There is apx. 1500 Acres for each Alaskan. Awesome amounts of wildlife, and one of few states where over 30% of its peoples, native and others live off the land. ItÆs called a subsistence lifestyle. Anyway, in March I opened an e-mail that I didnÆt know was going to change my life forever. I read it clicked the link and slowly found myself joining level after level taking every opportunity to upgrade to expose myself to more and more training. I donÆt even remember the sales video that well, but remember that it talked about helping others and training. So, I started with my boot camp training and started applying it to my new business. I did exactly what it taught me, and have had many successes since starting. IÆve met some interesting people, and have learned much. But most of all, IÆve been given the opportunity to help others. For instance one of my latest successes was what some say is impossible. I was able to get 300+ targeted leads to my blog post and capture page by following what I had learned and being consistent. I can teach you how to do this as well. ItÆs simple and takes only a couple of hours a day. Well, here we are today; its 80 degrees sunny and warm. ThereÆs a light breeze and IÆm sitting outside at a table my wife bought recently enjoying some juice and writing you. What are you doing right now? IÆll bet youÆre not watching a cow moose and her calf eating out of your neighborsÆ garden. And that is my story.
