The Minister of Youth and Sports has just finished a meeting with the Ghana Football Association. The meeting deliberated and agreed on the following... 1. The GFA has agreed to refund the $ 4 million that the Government gave as a loan to the GFA for Ghanas participation in the 2014 World Cup just when FIFA pays Ghanas 2014 tournament fee in the coming weeks. 2. Government has agreed to join GFA to reply FIFAs letter to the Ghana Football Association. The Minister of Youth and Sports will meet with the GFA next week to agree on the joint response. 3. The Government with the Ghana Olympic Committee will soon organise a conference on Sports Financing. 4. The GFA has agreed to use parts of their earnings from the World Cup for the development of Sports Academies around the Country.
