The Minnesota Soybean Research and Promotion Council sent a group of people to Fort Worth, Texas this week for the National Biodiesel Board’s annual meeting. Grygla area farmer Gary Anderson wants to learn more about biodiesel as it relates to soybean processing. “It’s my responsibility as a soybean producer to learn more about the end uses of the crop I produce. I want to better understand the role of biodiesel and soybean processing in the future of our energy supply.” Anderson, who raises wheat and soybeans, thinks it’s important that farmers know how their crops are used.
