The Miracle of Kathmandu!!! The young man with me is Anil Bhatta. He is one of the maintenance staff at the hotel where were staying here in Nepal for our Upper Room Encounter. After our first meeting today, the team retrieved back to their rooms to get some rest and I and my brother Azuka Asomugha stayed back to finalize arrangements with the Pastor hosting us about upcoming programs. After I went back to my room, my precious wife who was deep asleep said to me the heater in the room is not working. As usual I called the front desk and they sent Anil to our room. May I state that Anil is very good at what he does as he seem to have the master touch in fixing anything. But today the heater refused to cooperate to Anil touch so he decided to unplug it and wait for a few minutes. I offered him a seat as we began to talk about everything. Anil said to me he is Hindu but he has a brother who is a Christian. I knew then God was up to something. Anil asked me what I did for a living and why was I in Nepal. I told him Im a Christian and an evangelist. He said to me, what is evangelist? I explained to him that we travel to nations telling people about the Lord Jesus how he saves and heals people and that is what I have come to do. Anil said to me Christians have one God but Hindus have 3.2million god then he went ahead to show me the reason for his speech impediment. His tongue was so swollen that it could hardly move and a big wound was underneath it. AS I examined him I gently asked, has any of the 3.2 million gods been able to heal you? He said no, then I said to him, Im going to ask my one God who alone is God to heal you now, maybe that will prove to us who is the real God. Anil went ahead and closed his eyes and bowed his head for prayer as if positioning himself for push. So I said to him just open you eyes look at me and relax yourself. Im simply going to ask Jesus to heal you because it is His hobby to heal and save people. Anil looked at me in amazement and said are you sure of this? I said to him Im so sure, that if youre not healed I will become a Hindu but if youre healed then you become a Christian. He smiled and as he looked at me I said Father for Anil to truly know you are the one true God who heals and saves only by your son Jesus Christ, heal my dear friend today not by my faith nor by my touch but in the name of your son Jesus Christ. Then I said to Anil, say Amen, immediately he said Amen there was a big expression on his face as he was surprised that he could say it so well then he began moving his tongue and shouting in amazement. He said to me what did you do? In excitement, he called his brother and started explaining to him what had happened and after he hung up he said to me, when you prayed my tongue shook with speed and now Im healed. Can I now become a Christian? he asked. I lead him to the Lord right in front of the heater unit above the wall and after we finished praying, the heater started working. He laughed and said Jesus even fixes heaters. We hugged and I said to Anil, You were my friend but now youre my brother because we now share the same DNA Christ in Us Friends if I flew to Kathmandu just to see the this miracle it was worth the 24hrs flight and I will gladly do it again. Not wanting to disturb my sleeping wife, I took my first ever self fie with Anil as he gladly demonstrated his new smile. May you be a partaker of Gods miracles today in every area of your life in Jesus name. Did I hear you shout Heyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!
