The Monsoon Season has really hit Darwin hard this - TopicsExpress

The Monsoon Season has really hit Darwin hard this morning. Darwin recorded 119mm to 9am, with an impressive 42mm in the last hour. Nearby it was heavier though. • Wagait Beach 156mm • Marrara 142mm (52mm in the last hour) • Pirlangimpi 135mm (44mm in the last hour) • Stokes Hill 109mm This is all being drawn in by a Low off the Kimberley Coast, which is likely to become the first Cyclone for 2015 (Cyclone Lam) in the coming days. With the massive moisture levels which are pretty much maxing out right now, consistent Rain should continue of the coming hours. Falls in excess of 100mm today are highly possible.
