The Moon displayed a wonderful and very magnificent sight tonight. It was like looking into a huge Golden Eye in the sky. The Moon was purest white and looked like the pupil of an eye, but light-filled. The pupil bit (moon) was completely encircled by a strong golden ring of light and around that was a really intensely coloured rainbow ring. It was really astonishing and of course I stood there mesmerized with no camera.
