Im expecting womens issues to make a strong appearance in the media in the next few weeks as Venus gathers force with Pluto and Uranus, adding her agenda into the Pluto/Uranus square. In the meantime todays Leo Moon reminds us that each one of us has a special destiny. As James Hillman once wrote, on the heart of the lion, So, the first basic characteristic of the coeur de lion is that its thought does not appear as thought because it emanates like the sun into the world and remains disguised in that conformity with its motion. When the Moon is in Leo our desire is to be at one with the thoughts of our heart, or what we might call our imagination. Whatever is in our heart, most passionately, we aim to coagulate and identify with wholly. Like a method actor who truly becomes the role, it is our goal as Lions to become our dreams and fantasies, to step into them so totally that the world feels the radiance and shine of our presence. The challenge is to our confidence. Can we believe in ourselves, in the destined power of our personal imagination, or do we hide or run from what we fear? Also--how do we face disappointment, failure, embarrassment, or moments of injured pride? Do we rise to the occasion and reclaim our lion heart, a heart of self-love that keeps beating out its best, loving ourselves simply regardless of success or failure, or do we become bitter and ashamed, egoic, jealous and defensive?
