The Morning Report The yards are mowed and look pretty good. Zeb - TopicsExpress

The Morning Report The yards are mowed and look pretty good. Zeb is still learning about how not to cut the corners and leave spots. I started cutting them and then decided that it would be better if he had to go correct the problem himself and maybe he will remember the next time. All of this is a learning process that takes time and I hope I survive. It is a lot harder to teach someone how to do something than it is to do it yourself, but if we all did this how would these young folks know how to do anything? I think that today the tower gardens will be flushed out and have new water and nutrient added. Hopefully Zeb will be able to keep them going while we are gone and we will still have tomatoes when we return. Then we have to get ready for the fall garden of greens, lettuce, cabbage, onions and whatever else we decide to plant. I think that our tubs for the tub garden are going to have to be emptied and replaced with new homemade black cow. I think that we will empty a few to see if that will help the tomato growing problem that I’ve had this year and last year. I don’t know why we have had such an invasion of stink bugs but I don’t think that I’ve ever seen this many. I hate to use insecticide but I have dusted them several times with Sevin and we still have them. We are anxiously waiting for Friday to leave for the scalloping/fishing trip and vacation. There is still a lot to be done before we leave but it will get done. The scalloping reports have indicated that there are more than last year and now all we have to hope for is to find where they are and better weather. Grayson is still missed and we haven’t checked on him, but we also haven’t received a call about him so we are hoping that everything is going well. Mathew and Eeyore are coming up for feeding everyday so I think that Mr. Grayson may have been the problem all along about them not coming up. Y’all have a great and wonderful day and remember to take a moment to smell the roses!
