The Most Expensive Meal İ Ate. Last week,İ was meeting a rich client in Lagos in a bid to sell a luxury home.The meeting place was in Eko Hotels (after spending time in a VİP strip club).İ was walking with my team and business talks ensued with warp speed because our client was too sensitive of time.We talked,negotiated,made jokes and hobnobed......but he ordered for a £50,000 meal and İ was like wooooow...... A white luxury restauranteur served us this £50,000 food hampers 12 minutes later after my ùber-rich client placed the order: He put 22 bottles in the hamper,pancakes and bacons(batter) — including a £15,000 bottle of Romanée-Conti, a £2,000 bottle of Cognac and a £2,400 1959 Château dYquem — with a kilo of Royal Beluga caviar. I love the pancakes at Eko They whip the eggs into the batter. Its fluffy and delicious. And the bacon is thick and the bacon juices spill into your mouth as you bite into it. Life was good.£50,000 meal is a N12.5 million meal and we munched the whole buffett in less than 30 minutes. My client seemed to be an unknown billionaire in Nigeria. He wanted to buy the N790m house in Abuja we wanted to sell. But.... for some reasons. We didnt sell the house and İm back to Uyo. Next week......zooming off to Port harcourt to meet another client!
