The Most hated and despised before Allah The Messenger of Allah - TopicsExpress

The Most hated and despised before Allah The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “The most hated and despised man before Allah on the Day of Resurrection will be a man who was called Maalikul Amlaak (the king of kings). There is no king except Allah.” [Sahih Muslim] Commentary: Al-Malik is one of the names of Allah which means: (the Sovereign), al- Maalik (the Possessor), Allathi lahu’l-Mulk (the One to Whom Dominion belongs). Allah is the One Who is described with the attributes of sovereignty and dominion, which are the qualities of might and pride, subjugation and control. He is the One Who is in absolute control of creation, Who issues commands and Who rewards or punishes. The entire Universe, high and low, belongs to Him. All of them are His servants and slaves, and are utterly dependent on Him. It is forbidden to call anyone by a name which belongs only to Allah, such as Malik al-Mulook (king of kings) as the above Hadith informs us. The Scholars said, “If the name (Maalikul Amlaak – the king of kings) is one of the most humiliating of names, the person who is called by it will be one of the most humiliated of people.” Allah hates the arrogant, so too He hates the names that they give to themselves out of pride and arrogance. These names, in which they used to rejoice when they heard them, are the most hated, despised and loathsome of names to Allah. And Allah knows best! Source - hadithaday
