The Mount Joy Borough Rain Garden free seminar, that was open to the community on July 25th and 27th, was a huge success. David Christian and fellow speaker, Gavin Witmeyer of Integrity Land Works (https://facebook/IntegrityLandWorks), did an exceptional job with their presentations. There was a packed-to-capacity audience at the Thursday session (over 40) and 20+ in attendance at the Saturday session. Since it went so well on Thursday I (Sandy) personally attended the session today to videotape it with the hopes of successfully sharing this video with the Borough to upload onto the Borough website for all to utilize. The Borough will also be posting other links and updates on the rain garden that will be implemented to the rear of the municipal offices within the next two weeks. They will be seeking volunteers to help with the implementation of this very exciting project.
