The Music Producers Guild have started an initiative called Credit Where Credit Is Due. Apart from the importance of people getting credit for the work they do on records - something that is rapidly disappearing in the age of digital music downloads and streaming - this video illustrates the passion most people working in music share for reading credits. Like the big-name producers interviewed here, I also devoured credits on album sleeves; Mark Spike Stent, E.C. Radcliffe, Gary Langan, John Mutt Lange, Stephen Hague... all these names were as familiar to me as the artists whose music they had worked on.
