The Muslims may be scattered all over the world. But what keep us together is that we feel the pain of our brothers and sisters even if they are on the complete opposite side of the world! It affects us as if WE have been the ones who have been hurt and we do everything in our power to help them! That is what is means to be an Ummah! And if you do not feel the pain, then know that you are in fact not part of this Ummah, you are trapped in your own illusionary "Ummah" because our beloved Messenger (PBUH) has said that “The similitude of believers in regard to mutual love, affection, and fellow-feeling is that of one body; when any limb of it aches, the whole body aches, because of sleeplessness and fever.” Muslim
