Want friendly competition to build your fitness, confidence, balance and so on... Want to simply sit and watch the matches and training with a nice cool beer? Want to learn enough self-defence / mixed martial arts basics so that you can defend yourself successfully against an attacker, using effective techniques that dont require much strength? Want to learn fast with almost private tuition? Usually just about four-five people. If any of those apply to you, then perhaps the NDWA is for you, NDWA meets are intimate affairs with few people, so youre almost getting private tuition, and all I ask in return is that you participate in grappling matches each time you show up or sparring and/or boxing or kickboxing matches -at your discretion - and remain focused on my difficult and sometimes rather obscure training methods. The Supreme Leader requires loyal soldiers to help with his ‘special plans for the world’. If you are utterly useless, cowardly and malcoordinated, then we have just the thing for you - the Wooden Spoon division - this is for the bottom ranked members, and you have the Wooden Spoon title thrust upon you by losing a match to the current spoon holder. It is intense and hilarious in woeful kind of way. Please note you do not need to be fit to come along to your first NDWA training session, just do what you can and sit out the rest - trust me youll be fitter soon enough. Many styles, many methods, many levels of ability, and a place to arrange free training sessions and exciting matches. So the NDWA is basically like an underground Fight Club, and motivational therapy. The first rule of the NDWA is not do not talk about the NDWA on the contrary, add as many friends as you can to the group and pressure them to come to training session (if they do not come, inform the NDWA Gestapo or Inquisition). I will look to motivate you, to inspire you, to raise your confidence where need be. Either way, youll be able to find competition at your level and grow in fitness and confidence.
