You fished 8 pro events on big water plus several ProAm regional stuff. You prefished for each event months prior to the event and during the offical practice. Fuel for the year 12K. Your 21foot - 74,000.00 boat runs 60 mph (about the ave speed through out the w/a 250 (its top speed is actually 73 lets just say) but you get approximately 3 miles to the gallon. At the end of year you burn a cool 12K. What if you could save up to half of that expense, thats right. What if you could save 5 or 6,000.00. That would be like getting a monthly check from your sponsor for 400-500.00. Or having your boat payment pay you back. And you wouldnt have to sit around hoping on contingency money (a gamble for most). An Allison XB21 can hit those numbers with a 225 or 200 or 175. And still run in the 70s at lower rpm while hitting top end speeds between 80 and 90 mph. AND tame rough water. Are we on to something?
