The NEW and Improved Alcan Specialized Transport, pilot truck :) After Erics truck was wrecked in Anchorage it has been sitting on the side of Julies house collecting bird droppings lol, we have been trying to get Julies truck finished to be a pilot truck. After thousands of dollars and lots and lots of work, we now have the Best of the Best pilot truck. This truck looks awesome. Thanks to Interior Off-road in Prince George, BC, we have the very first oversize rack to swing downward over the roof of the truck (to many fifth wheel trailers were hitting the sign) , also there is no more wiring thru the truck to turn the lights on ,the lights are controlled on a small remote, that hangs on your key chain. New feature too, when stopping traffic on a bridge, the stop sign comes out with two flashing lights on both sides(just like the school buses) so you dont have to hold a paddle stop sign anymore out your window. To many pilot cars were almost getting there arm ripped off holding that paddle sign out the window or cars were not paying attention and went around the sign anyway. Now its a major fine going around a pilot car with that new (school bus) stop sign being deployed. I am truly beyond impressed and this Dodge just looks so super sharp. Thank you Julie for letting us use the truck and for letting Eric continue as a pilot truck. You are going to have one impressive pilot truck in Alaska when we get your truck back to you here soon :)
