The NJOEM, in conjunction with County OEM’s, is actively monitoring local flooding associated with yesterday’s rain event. Impacts in Burlington County. Due to flooding along the Rancocas Creek, Lumberton Twp. declared a SOE at approximately 5:00 AM. Approximately 30 residents were evacuated to a reception center. Medford is also experiencing flooding and evacuated low-lying areas with approximately 15 residents relocated to a municipal reception center. Evacuations will stay in effect at least until high tide recedes.
