The NPA Boss headed that institution for a few months only, but now demands a staggering R7m golden handshake in order to vacate his position, as he is found unfit to head the NPA. Meanwhile, Gerrie Nel, an outstanding public servant by far, was wrongly framed with corruption charges, and SA nearly lost his excellent service because of false allegations that led to him becoming charged, so that he could be barred from leading the NPA at a provincial level. Cry the beloved country.
