The NSW Government has cut the funding for Deaf Society of NSWs Auslan courses. Gone are Cert II, III & IV and the Diploma of Auslan. Sign the petition and SHARE to help reverse this decision: https://change.org/p/auslan-student-petition-for-2015-smart-and-skilled-program These cuts to interpreting services and courses will hit the deaf community hard - we need more interpreters and more programs that provide pathways to employment.
