The NYT gets it right. Gov. Malloy is not perfect and not particularly likeable, but he did what needed to be done to pull CT out of the hole created by his predecessors. Connecticut’s recovery from the recession is still not robust enough. If Mr. Malloy is re-elected, an economic revival will still be the main item on his agenda, while keeping the state’s budget sound.
