The Narendra Modi the “Pradhan Sevak” who wanted to “govern by consensus” -led Government at the Centre completed its 100 days in power on 2nd September 2014. He began his journey as the Prime Minister of India by inviting SAARC nations to his oath-taking ceremony and surprised both his friends and critics by his bold decisions. Government is characterised by dynamism and doesn’t suffer from policy paralysis like the UPA Government. Prime Minister showcased his roadmap for a developed India, covered international and diplomatic concerns, inclusive growth for all segments including minorities, poverty elimination, stress on developing labour-intensive manufacturing sector, FDI, inflation and rationalisation of tax structure, trying to bring synergy between Aadhar projects and National Population Register (NPR), Government has launched a unique website – MyGov (mygov.nic.in) – to engage people in the governance to contribute towards good governance. There are various sections that people can opt for like – Clean Ganga, Girl Child Education, Clean India, Skilled India, Digital India and Job Creation. The objective of each section is to bring about a qualitative change through people’s participation.
