The Narok County Government has launched yet again launched one of the very important roads in the famous Maasai Mara reserve. The roads is from Aitong to Talek worth Kshs.27 million. The road was launched by the Governor Hon Samuel Ole Tunai at Talek centre. He also had a public meeting with wananchi at Talek Mixed sec school. He gave Kshs. 6million for the boys school and Kshs.10million for the Girls school. He said for the education standards to improve, the girls have to be separated from the boys. He also gave Kshs. 3.75million for the construction of 5 classrooms at Molibany Primary school. He added that soon the community will b End fit from the employment by the County Government of 12 youths who will be working at the entry points to the reserve. He also affirmed that a bill is I underway where the rights to trade beadwork will be left to the local women. On the referendum, he said his stand is very firm, that hes not in support of the referendum because revenue from the national government can still get to the counties not just through the referendum. He will today launch the Aitong to Mararianda road and also have meeting with the public at both areas.
