The Nashville Police Department issued their weekly report for the past 2 weeks and they were very busy. During the week of April 14th through the 20th they responded to calls of a suspicious vehicle in Memorial Park, welfare checks, a disturbance on the 300 block of West Saint Louis Street, the burglary of a vehicle on the 200 block of East Chester and on the 100 block of East Belleville, as well as some harassment reports. There was an ordinance violation on the 300 block of West Maple Street and a domestic disturbance on the 300 block of West Chester. On April 17th at approximately 11 PM, the NPD responded to a call of domestic trouble on the 100 block of East Scott Street. According to the report, 41-year old Cindy Jackson of Nashville allegedly threw a bottle at a chandelier belonging to Christina Gabriel. The parties were separated and Jackson was cited for Criminal Damage to Property and there may be more charges issued following an investigation. On April 15th there was an accident on Mockingbird Road near Route 127 as a car going eastbound driven by 34-year old Alexies Melendez of Pinckneyville was struck from behind by a pick-up truck driven by 62-year old Jerry Stadge of Tilden. There was an accident the next day at the intersection of South Washington and West Saint Louis Streets as a car driven by 48-year old Poleteme Hartman of Nashville was turning onto West Saint Louis when her car was hit from behind by a car driven by 92-year old Delbert Doehring of Nashville. A few hours later, there was a traffic stop on South Mill Street near East Holzhauer Drive, as 42-year old Rodolpho Cantor or Saint Louis was cited for Driving With No Valid Driver’s License and given a verbal warning for speeding and only having 1 red tail light working. There was an accident on Thursday, April 17th at approximately 1130 PM involving a couple of vehicles driven by juveniles at the intersection of East Saint Louis Street and North Hoffman. No one was injured in any of the accidents.
