The Nation: One-stop service centres to open Tuesday in Bangkok 14 July 2014 Labour Department will open six one-stop service centres in Bangkok on Tuesday to facilitate migrant worker registration, said Sumet Mahosot, director general of Employment Department. The centre will function until August 14, he said. Each of the six centres will have Ten officials will work at each of the six centres that are set up at the order of the National Council for Peace and Order to reform the migrant workers system. Sumet said he expected that at least 1,000 migrant workers would register at each centre during the entire period, enabling them to work legally and receive benefits like Thai workers.
