The Nation is sick because? I was sitting in a coffee shop in East county listening to a conversation between some high school seniors. They were discussing why the nation was sick. After several avenues had been explored they settled in on the notion that the real reason is that we have traded in our God for one we can control, meaning our electronic devices, and/or we have forsaken the fact that we are spirits in a physical body placed here by God for a purpose. So I decided to ask a question. I turned and said ,You are right in your thinking on both counts, so where does Jesus fit into your equation? He didnt and so we had a extended conversation over the first chapter of Gospel of John. Lasted for about and hour,until some had other commitments but we agreed to meet next week. I gave them a reading assignment the rest of the gospel of John. 7 kids in all, 4 girls and 3 guys........pray
