The Nation of Israel has existed since G-d gave Abraham, Isaac and Jacob this land thousands of years ago and Israel never will cease to exist, even though for a period of time they were scattered throughout the World. When Israel became a Nation again in 1948 this was a very significant event in History and this was an important event in Bible prophecy as well. G-d himself has restored the Nation of Israel and Jewish people to land He promised to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Isaiah 11 11 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. 12 And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth. Ezekiel 11: 17 Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord G-D; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel. Now that Israel is once again gathered as a Nation, they shall never be removed but they will remain a Nation forever.
