The National Demining Institute of Mozambique organised a regional workshop on the completion of demining obligations under Article 5 of the Anti-Personnel Mine Ban Convention, and the development of national capacities to manage residual mine and ERW contamination. The objective was to share best practice and lessons learnt from the Southern African region on these issues. This event was implemented in partnership with the GICHD, Norway, UNDP and the Implementation Support Unit of the Ottawa Convention.
